Three months in India—less an ending, more somethi Three months in India—less an ending, more something quietly continuing.

Grateful to the Sivananda ashram for the simplicity, the rhythm, and the depth in every moment.

To the friendships, the shared spaces, and everyone who joined our workshops—thank you for your presence and trust.

From Tension to Expansion: This was a 3-day exper From Tension to Expansion:
This was a 3-day experiential workshop focused on helping the body come out of holding patterns and return to ease.

We worked on:
• Releasing tension in the diaphragm and ribcage
• Supporting the vagus nerve and nervous system
• Restoring natural, efficient breathing

Through simple, practical methods — gentle inward practices, deep relaxation, and self-release techniques — participants learned how to reduce physical and emotional tension in a way that feels safe and sustainable.

The focus was not on theory, but on experience and application. Tools that can be used daily.

What participants shared:

“Literally life-changing… not too much theory, straight to practice and very effective.”

“I’ve had a big shift in my jaw tension… a real reduction in clenching and a much more relaxed feeling.”

“Very practical… things you can take away and use straight away.”

“Deep knowledge, but taught in a very grounded and accessible way.”

Did you know your eyes are the only visible part o Did you know your eyes are the only visible part of the brain?

They are directly connected to the nervous system.

Visual fatigue doesn’t stay only in the eyes.
It often appears as neck, jaw, and shoulder tension.

You can have 20/20 eyesight
and still experience visual processing strain.

A simple shift can help.

Soft gaze allows the nervous system to settle.

And sometimes the most powerful reset is simple:
close your eyes for a moment.

FAQ

Is yoga therapy available virtually or only in person?

Both! I have a small number of in-person slots; however, virtual offers us more flexibility. If you feel strongly that you'd like to meet in person and my slots are full, I'm happy to start working with you virtually and put you on the waitlist for in-person sessions.

Does my private health insurance cover your services?

Yes, As registered members with THE RITMA COMPLEMENTARY MEDICINE ASSOCIATION, most yoga therapy services can be covered under "Alternate medicine and Naturotherapy" by your health insurance. Massage therapy services are covered under the standard "Massage Therapy" category.

We can provide you with an insurance receipt after your session to help you claim reimbursement. Just let us know at your next appointment!

Please note: Coverage details can vary depending on your specific insurance plan. We recommend contacting your provider directly to confirm coverage for yoga therapy services.
