As we close our 2025 journey through the South of As we close our 2025 journey through the South of India, our hearts are full of gratitude — for the people who inspired us with their knowledge, their way of living, and their quiet, steady love.
Thank you for the teachings, seen and unseen.
Whether in the ashram or on the road, every day became a living practice: to walk with love, to move with joy, to serve with an open heart.
Until next time! 🌿🌿🌿#india #nomadlife #travelling #travelgram #wellness #wellbeing #indiatravel #verdun

Spending our final 10 days at the Sivananda Madurai Ashram — immersed in practice, reflection, and deepening our studies in Yoga and Ayurveda.
Grateful for the wisdom, the discipline, and the quiet transformations that only this kind of journey can bring.
Carrying these teachings forward — not just in knowledge, but in how we live, breathe, and serve.

Visiting an Essential Oils House in Kerala Stepp Visiting an Essential Oils House in Kerala

Stepping into an essential oils house is like entering a living apothecary—earthy, floral, spicy, sweet. Every scent tells a story of healing.

A few oils left a deep impression:

Neroli (Orange Blossom) – Bright and uplifting, this oil is known to ease depression and calm the heart. Its citrusy sweetness carries a softness that feels like light on the skin.

White Sandalwood – Deeply meditative. Cooling, stabilizing, and revered for its ability to still the mind and invite inner peace. A sacred wood turned sacred scent.

Frankincense – Ancient and grounding. Used in spiritual rituals to deepen the breath, soothe the nervous system, and hold space for grief or reflection. A quiet companion in chaotic times.

And then—unexpectedly—Coffee Oil. We couldn’t resist. Rich, warm, and energizing, it’s also used in natural sun protection formulations. A reminder that even the familiar can surprise us with healing potential.

These are more than just aromas.
They’re plant allies. Medicine.
Healing, one breath at a time.

Took time today to walk through a beautiful Ayurve Took time today to walk through a beautiful Ayurvedic medicinal herbal garden—where plants aren’t just plants, but medicine, heritage, and tradition. This space grows the very herbs used in Panchakarma therapies and Ayurvedic supplements. It was grounding to see where healing begins—rooted in soil, tended with care.

Among the many herbs, three stood out for their significance and strength:

Ashwagandha – The adaptogen king. Known to support the nervous system, reduce stress, boost energy, and balance hormones. This herb teaches resilience.

Bharat (also known as Haritaki) – A cornerstone of Triphala, this fruit is deeply cleansing. Known for its rejuvenating effects on digestion and elimination, it’s a purifier for both body and mind.🌿🌿🌿#wellness #wellnessjourney #ayurveda #ayurvedic #holistichealth #montreal # Verdun #nomadlife

FAQ

Is yoga therapy available virtually or only in person?

Both! I have a small number of in-person slots; however, virtual offers us more flexibility. If you feel strongly that you'd like to meet in person and my slots are full, I'm happy to start working with you virtually and put you on the waitlist for in-person sessions.

Does my private health insurance cover your services?

Yes, As registered members with THE RITMA COMPLEMENTARY MEDICINE ASSOCIATION, most yoga therapy services can be covered under "Alternate medicine and Naturotherapy" by your health insurance. Massage therapy services are covered under the standard "Massage Therapy" category.

We can provide you with an insurance receipt after your session to help you claim reimbursement. Just let us know at your next appointment!

Please note: Coverage details can vary depending on your specific insurance plan. We recommend contacting your provider directly to confirm coverage for yoga therapy services.
